| We
gather weekly on a Sunday to worship God together but
is that all we do?
Definitely
not, following Jesus is a lifestyle involving friendship
with God, friendship with Christians and friendship
with those not-yet Christians. To encourage and develop
this relational lifestyle we meet in small groups. These
usually meet in homes.
Small
groups are:
- Places
where we can make friends.
-
Places where we can meet with God.
- Places
where we can be made more whole people by letting
God change us.
- Places
where we can bring our not-yet Christian friends so
that they can get to know God's love also.
- Places
where we can find out what God has gifted us with,
and then develop those gifts to encourage our friends.
Small
groups are the basic building blocks of our church so
we encourage all people who consider themselves part
of the church to regularly attend their cell group.
The
small groups are made to reproduce, to multiply - the
one becoming two, the two becoming four and so on. This
is the main way we see our church growing - the multiplying
of small groups.
